Finishing Well
A few months ago we recorded a special episode with Joel Tiegreen, a missionary to the country of Turkey. He was diagnosed with cancer after being on the field for five years. We wanted to present that episode to you again with an update on his condition.
Joel was not expected to live to see Christmas. But the Lord was kind and gave his family another Christmas, New Year, and Easter with Joel, along with a few family celebrations.
While we were recording this episode, we asked Joel how we could be praying for him. One request he had was that he would finish his race well. We wanted to let you know that Joel was called home on Tuesday, April 13. We ask that you would listen again to his words and his description of the faithfulness of our God in the midst of his pain and suffering.
After listening to or watching this episode, we further ask that you pray for Joel’s wife Emily, his children, and the rest of his family. Also, Joel has particularly asked people to pray that God would raise up Christians to bring the gospel to the land of Turkey.
