The new church at Galatia is under attack by those who insist that, in addition to the work of Jesus, the Galatian believers must obey a set of rules in order to be acceptable to God. When Paul hears this news, he pens a letter rebuking these false teachers and defending the message of the gospel.
Thousands of years later, the modern Church faces the same problem. When we lose sight of Christ as the sole ground and faith as the sole means of our justification, we fall into the same error as the Galatians. How do we defend our churches and our own souls against the message of “Jesus plus…”?

Each workbook week is comprised of one lesson which is designed to be slowly worked through, meditated on, and applied throughout the week.

about the author
Dr. Stephen Yuille has been married to Alison for thirty-three years. They have two daughters and one grandson. Dr. Yuille is a Content Director/Editor at Reformation Heritage Books, while also serving as a Professor of Church History and Spiritual Formation at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has over thirty years of ministry experience and is currently the preaching pastor at Fairview Covenant Church in Granbury, Texas. He has published an extensive list of academic articles and books in Puritan studies. He has also published several popular works in biblical studies.
