About

description

Israel's embrace of idolatry has invoked divine discipline. God has revived old enemies. The place of Israel's past victories has become the present headquarters of their oppressors. For the first time, we see the enemy taking back land God gave to Israel in the days of Joshua. This spiritual decline is even manifested in the compromised and confused choices of Israel's judges. Is there any real hope?

Judges is not simply a collection of strange Old Testament events; it mirrors disturbing trends in evangelical churches today. And yet, it is also a roadmap back to the living God. In these seven workbook chapters and their corresponding video lessons, we consider what the book of Judges has to say to every Christian and church that desires to live with the true God.

components

Living with the True God: Lessons from Judges is centered around a 7 video sermons and a corresponding 7-week workbook-style study. Each week, the student will begin by watching a sermon on a key passage in Judges before working through a workbook lesson during the remainder of the week.
